hi guys, wanted to no if there are any other football manager fans on ere, mainly cos i think the new one is shit, its too hard and nowhere near as addictive as the last one, very disappointed, anyone else an fm fan??

used to, like u say it's too hard now, or i'm just shit at it! just seems way too many things to do on it now, can't be arsed with it anymore

im so gutted, i loved this game, i feel like ive wasted £30 on it
you get ridiculous injuries at the start, players stamina is shite
the press conference, you cant say what you want, you have to 'play the game' and say stuff you dont want to say which you say the same every different press conference.
the 3d game is shit
all central midfielders are shit
i have on average 9 shots a game and scor none, its ridiculous, u have made me feel so much better, gettin that off my chest
theres so much more that is shit but i just cant be arsed to list them all

i played the game a bit. hard 2 start off with, but easy once u get the right players. apart from a few cup matches when i play the reserves, havent lost a league game since i started. yep agree with injuries. strikers dont score many in first year. but hey, if the game was easy, wheres the challenge. dont play much any more.

TBH, I stopped playing the new versions after CM3 was replaced. It stopped being about tactics and team selection and started being about contracts, press conferences and training schedules as much as anything else. Don't get me wrong, I know that this is what real football management entails, but I don't want that; for much the same reasons that I play the Burnout games, rather than.... say... flight Simulators. I don't want to play a game and end up more stressed out at the end of the session than I was when I started!

i see what your saying about the training, the reason mourinho takes certain coaches with him is because they have their own trainin techniques, and i no people want a challenge, but i wasnt awesome at 08 but was good enough to keep me interested, it was still a challenge.
the thing that annoys me the most is the press conferences, you have to just say the positives, its easy to rig therefore pointless, its obvious that if you say something like 'it could lower morale' that the players morale will lower.
and the 3d match is just awful, i hope the creators take what we say into account cos its a shame, that game was incredible

get ur assistant to do press cons
