Rapidshare Playing Up? - flaminfuryuk - 19-02-2009 22:09

Hey, has anyone ever come across this message on Rapidshare before:

"Your IP address 194.72.9.24 is already downloading a file. Please wait until the download is completed."

Its wierd because thats not my IP address and i'm not downloading anything.

Any help would be appreciated.

Thanks

Saw on another forum that rapidshare has been playing up for a few days. Don't download anything from it myself so I can't give you anymore info but it's definitely not just you.

All I can suggest is clearing your internet history (Cookies, Temporary files etc.) and see if that helps.

Code:
Internet Explorer: Toolbar > Tools > Delete Browsing History > Delete all
Firefox: Toolbar > Tools > Clear Private Data

WARNING:  If you have any passwords saved on the browser they will be lost. (Emails, forum logins etc.)

Also, I'm not sure if your aware, but displaying your IP on the forum could be quite dangerous since anyone can view this place.

The megaupload site that I use has changed format this week. While uploading a file, my firefox browser is totally locked up until upload is complete. Cant open a new tab or anything. Never had this happen until yesterday. I even registered a free account with them yesterday but it made no difference. Upload speed is the same as before, about 60KB/sec.
Need to try it out with firefox and IE7 on my windows computer sometime, this one is linux.
