Obviously there's proxy servers but still, it's a dark day for the internet in my opinion.

id disagree mr t. ive never had a virus from the bay, and i get most my films, music, and tv series from it for last year or so.......
only a matter of time before most sharing sites get done over tho... surprised its taken that long for one isp to block it. luckily sky dont at the moment.

Only ever used this when I'm really desperate for something, I've been using newsgroups for the better part of four years now, it may cost me £8 a month but it's ssl, you always get top speed and it's virus free(although I've never had a virus of a torrent site)
It's another massive blow for the scene though, stupid thing is, google is a bigger torrent search engine than the pirate bay and isohunt combined

for what it's worth, microsoft have claimed that the pirate bay is full of viruses and is unsafe to visit.

I'm on the box and daemon, trouble is with these sites, they are very difficult to get on and extremely strict. You HAVE to upload as much as down load and you can't use greedy.
It's a shame all these sites are going suppose they had to end one day.
