Terry Nutkins RIP - Doddle - 07-09-2012 14:38

Raggle-haired naturalist and kids TV presenter, alas dead at 66 after a battle with leukaemia.

I never knew he'd worked with Gavin 'Ring of Bright Water' Maxwell, who'd become Terry's legal guardian (Terry only being 11) Surprised

Anyway, the animals have lost another friend, so RIP Sad

Ancient that I am, I remember as far back as Animal Magic. And big kid that I am, I loved his turns on the likes of What's Up Doc.

You'll be much missed, TerrySad

Just heard the news, the thing about Terry is he had a great knack of being able to explain things in a simplified format which is a great skill. I remember growing up watching him on the Really Wild Show in which I learned a lot from. Terry knew how to communicate in a fashion that could make even the dullest of subjects sound interesting to a younger audience. RIP to a man who inspired so many.
