Anyone else having this Problem? - BristolRovers - 15-10-2008 23:44

I was just turning over to the channels and it says I have to enter my pin ?!?

Does that mean all the channels have been encrypted?

I have gone in the parental control settings and 18 programs aren't restricted.

I am a bit dubious about entering my pin cause I don't want to be charged by Sky!

What's up?

All mine are working fine......if it's anyone of the channels that isn't subscription based just enter your pin...they can't charged you....

which channels you having trouble with, is it the channels like babestation and sexstation?

RE: Anyone else having this Problem? - BristolRovers - 15-10-2008 23:52

Yeah it is the free to view ones (Babestation, Sexstation etc)

Call Girls is working fine but that is because it is a 15 programme.

So it is leading me to believe that I have a invisable lock to these channels

My Sky is okay and isn't requiring a pin number.
Maybe reset your box mate.......you've worked it into overdrive!

i get that sometimes as well, its nothing to worry about. I know that if you reboot the system that it usually sorts it self out. When its happened to me, i've reinstalled the software and then it ends up going back to normal after a while, but its nothing serious so theres no need to worry mate Smile

i'm with kalel on this one. ive had the same problem once or twice... a good old off n on usually sorts it. maybe they lock up the channels coz we watch them too much haha!

when i first saw that happening, i thought at last pin protection, hardcore action now, but it was still the same oh well lol

Nope all still normal with me too. Surely though if it did go all pin protected we could get later type stuff during the day like how Sky Movies show rated 18 movies in the mornings but pin protected...

Just thought I would let you guys know that it has worked - Turned off box and then back on and all is well.

Thanks for the advice Smile
