On the streaming porn sites shedload.com and tubestation.com there is the option to download the videos as flv files.
I had a go at this and it worked. However, when watching the videos using vlc media player, when i try and skip to a certain point in the video the video just cuts out and stops. This happens on all the videos ive tried so im assuming it's to do with the fact it's a flv file.
Is there anyway to stop this from happening?

Quicktime Player also plays flv files better that VLC does.

Thanks both of you, I downloaded the player spacey suggested in the end. One other thing, is there anyway to convert flv files to other formats?

Total Video Converter does a good job at converting flv files.

As does Quicktime although you may need the Pro version (not sure). Also another choice is the free app Mpeg Streamclip.

the new real player rips video from youtube and other sources and makes them flv plays them too

Did you download any of the players, as I'm thinking about doing this as well.
