Actor Dennis Farina passed away today, The veteran actor of TV and films - such as Law & Order, Out of Sight, and Midnight Run - has passed away at age 69. He was also known for playing comedic mobster roles such as Jimmy Serrano in Midnight Run, Ray Barboni in Get Shorty and Cousin Avi in Snatch.

Recently he was in New Girl as Nick's dad, you couldn't have picked a better man for the job.

Sad news indeed,he was a top actor who could play both Straight & Comedy roles with consummate ease.

Really sad news regarding Dennis Farina, he was a real solid dependable actor, he was outstanding in the 80's TV series "Crime Story" as Lt Mike Torello, and made a good Jack Crawford in "Manhunter."

Sad news lads.
Midnight Run is one of my favourite films.
Farina as Jimmy Serrano:
"This is it. Tonight is the fucking night. I am tired of all these screw-ups. As soon as I get the discs from Walsh, you guys drop Walsh and then you drop the Duke. You understand? I get the discs, you drop them."
