Former Brimingham City striker Christian Benitez has died aged 27. The cause of death is yet unkown.

RIP 'Chucho' top player who always lit up any game he played.Will always be a favourite at Blues.Early reports are he reported stomach pains after playing for his team in Qatar which turned out to be appendicitis which turned to peritonitis on the way to hospital. 27 is no age to die thoughts are with his family at this sad time.

He went to hospital with stomach pains and his heart failed hours later, the Ecuador Football Federation have said. 27 is when players are at the peak of their career.
