He died yesterday 31st August of a heart attack at the age of 74.

He was TV's no1 interviewer in the 1980-90's.
Remember his Richard Nixon interview on Watergate....

Its at times like these you only take stock at what a person has done in there life and how things would have been different if ti wasnt for them

Without David frost in the 60's with the week that was and the frost report there might not have been monty python or the two ronnies or even Satire shows

He led the way for so many ideas in broadcasting and television programming. One of the greatest broadcasters of all time, his many awards and huge reputation in the field are well deserved. RIP David Frost.

and of course known internationally as the voice of "the rumble in jungle" the most famous fight in boxing history. so many strings to his bow. legend.

I only caught up with the Frost/Nixon film in the past week.

A great broadcaster of highbrow & lowbrow shows.

Very sad news indeed.

A real distinguished and distinctive broadcaster.

But my Dad wasn't that surprised, he said the last time how saw David on Tv it was obvious that all the time he spent partying during his 60's heydays were catching up with him.
