Can anyone explain to me why the producers of these shows are so paranoid about us seeing the girls use their mobile phones? The girls either use their legs to obscure our view of the phone or the cameraman pans down to her feet or something.
Why should we care what the girls are doing on their mobiles between calls?

I'd guess it's so we don't inadvertently see something we shouldn't, like a real name, address, or phone number. Or they may be checking something like their twitter feed, where some guy may have kindly and romantically sent a picture of his cock!

I'm with RatedR on this. They'd probably think it looks unprofessional. And it would ! You're there to work & entice calls, not organise trips to Chinawhite or some other tacky, generic club, with your pals.

They are meant to be seen as working & always on the phones being kept busy..
Soon as you see a girl on her phone tweeting/instagramming.texing/whatsappin (even if most of the time they are plugging that they are on the channel at the time) you get the sense that her phone must be free or that no ones calling in..

dayshows don't have attentive camera operators. They just leave it static most of the time. It's not lazy or anything, but girls are restricted in the day, so it would be pointless having someone on the camera all the time.
