Tech Question Re Sky+ Playback - JuanKerr - 24-11-2013 09:13

I suspect this is something to do with some of the babe channel's bitrate or other broadcasting specs, but does anyone know why the fast forward during Sky+ playbacks is jumpy on some channels, but uninterrupted and smooth on others?

Most of the S66 channels will freeze for about a second, every two or three seconds, while the fast forward is active, and consequently skip about three seconds of footage in the process. This can be very irritating for anyone like me who records them and then fast forwards through them looking for moments of interest, as you sometimes miss the interesting stuff if it happens during one of these freeze-jumps.

Hi mate
I've never had this problem with my Sky HD box, when I'v had too much recorded stuff in my planner I 've noticed the HD box being a little sluggish. If you switch the HD box off at the plug, then switch it back on again after a few minutes this resets your HD box...don't know if this will help Wink......
