Dad's Army is the next boxset on my to get list, seen the odd episodes over the years on TV, but I need to watch it all from start to finish to rate it. Never watched Yes Minister, although I know it's rated very highly by lots of people. Friends? sorry but just no. RE: Favourite Sitcoms - circles_o_o_o - 07-01-2014 14:42 Still Game was one of my favourites - every character in it was funny, especially the corner-shop guy and the Peter Stringfellow barman. One of the few programmes that genuinely made me laugh out loud. Wish they could make a few more episodes. I suppose their tower-block would have been demolished by now. They can move it to the dead seaside town where Winston moved to. I only discovered Still game for the first time myself last year, crying shame it's not that well known, because it's right up there with the all time classics IMO. |
