Australia have been forced into a late change to their World T20 squad as Mitchell Johnson has an infected toe and is replaced by Doug Bollinger.

As well as Mitchell Johnson has bowled in Test Cricket & ODI's in the last year I don't see him as one of the best T20 bowlers they possess, bouncers often get wided in this form & Mitchell Starc bowls a more consistant yorker.

For me I have Australia as favourites.

Bookies have England as 8th favourites out of the 8 teams already in the Super 10 Stages with only the 2 yet to be decided qualifiers from the First Round Stages behind them

Today's Zimbabwe v Ireland match could be close.
Zimbabwe aren't the force that they used to be and Ireland can usually put out a decent one day team.

If only Ireland still had the services of Eion Morgan and Boyd Rankin

Current score Zim 66-2 off 6

Well said Charlemagne, it's a shame that anyone close to becoming a top player is poached from us (Ireland) before we can get the benefits of their talents.

Zimbabwe have posted a competitive score here, but we've started well in our reply - COME ON IRELAND!

I've got to say I like the format of this competition, giving so many smaller cricketing countries their chance to play in the tournament, but not cluttering up the main stage either with a lot of pointless matches.

One scrambled run off the last ball for Ireland to win by 1 run. Although they were looking pretty comfortable with 3 overs to go, so it was a lucky escape.

I agree may be we should bring it to the attention of the footballing authorities for the Euro and World Cups - although I doubt they would listen.

If Ireland progress to the 2nd Group Stage (Super 10 Stage) they will Play England in Group B.

If that happens I expect to see England slipping to 9th in the betting Big Grin
