Office 365 replacement - lovebabes56 - 30-03-2014 13:34

Would welcome any suggestions to any free download word type software that would be compatible with Windows 8 after my free trial expired for Office 365 premium recently and do not wish to buy.

Libre Office and Open Office are both free and are more than adequate replacements for MS Office if you're not doing anything massively complex.

Alternatively you can use Google Docs through a browser.

openoffice.org

Has all the same sort of stuff as Microsoft office. And is free.

That's what I have installed. It's pretty basic - but it does for me. I simply refuse to pay MS an arm and a leg for their over-bloated software. bladewave

Would it work with office 365? or would it be better to delete office 365 first before downloading?
