is there a reason why there isnt somewhere on the main page to learn people where to find pics tiny enough that they can use as avatars? unless i am missing some mysterious section of here there is nowhere to learn new people how to add their own mark here without figuring out how to cut pics down to the 110 by 110 pixels. why is that?

I usually go to this site to reduce the pic I want to use.

http://www.shrinkpictures.com/create-avatar/

1) Find the pic you want to shrink on your PC .

2) Set the size to 110.

3) Click resize

4) Save the result on your PC and use accordingly.

Due to the forum's restriction re size of avatar some results may not be great but I usually find a pic of 1 of my favourite babes which I can use.

If anyone knows of similar easy to use sites / software please let me know.

Thanks.

I use the scale image option in VLC.First I create a 110x110 frame and see what it covers of the image I need, then just adjust the full image until what I want in the image fits perfectly. It's easy as pie,it has to be for me! Smile It does depend on the quality of the original picture though how pixelated the final image turns out.
