Always had a soft spot for him for insisting that Donald Pleasance be allowed to join the other escapers in The Great Escape. Fictional, I know, and the consequences were tragic. But for me he will always be the Scrounger!

yeah he will always be the scrounger in Great escape but was in quite a good us sitcom called 8 Simple Rules in the early 2000's as Kaley Cuoco's Cantankerous old Grandpa
