Channel 4 racing - it time to ditch racing? - lovebabes56 - 28-07-2014 06:11

Has Channel 4 racing run out of steam since the changes it has made?
If the viewing figures are to be believed then does racing have a worthy slot on a Saturday afternoon on free to air anymore?

if channel 4 does decides to drop racing, what would you want in it's place? Should Channel 4 make an audacious bid to bring back cricket?
And should either ATR or Racing UK both become free to air channels to cover those who love our racing

Channel 4 have already got the horse racing rights for 2015 and 2016 and so I don't see how they can scrap showing racing now.

Jousting? Well it involves horses lol. No seriously I wouldn't think C4 would consider dropping horse racing least not in the short term think theirs quite a lot of older people (ie pensioners that can't get to the local betting shop not good on their feet) least quite a few round my way. C4 may have another look at it in 2016/7 then decide. IMO.
