So soon after losing Robin Williams we lose a fine actress in Lauren Bacall.died after a stroke at home at age 89.

She was always a favourite of mine. Although best known for her early roles in the 1940s her acting career spanned 70 years.

A great actress, and wife of Humphrey Bogart. Did enjoy their films together. She was the only actress in Hollywood who actually picked her own bogie

One of the last of the Hollywood old school, a proper star as well, had little time for film stars of today and detested the the whole 'famous for being famous' celebs
