RIP Ian Paisley - Jam Da Man - 12-09-2014 14:05 Ian Paisley has died aged 88, this morning. The former leader of the DUP, He played a major part in the current peace that exists in N. Ireland, becoming First Minister in 2007, sharing power with Sinn Fein. Politics aside, I used to love hearing him on the news. Big, big man, full of fire and conviction. He is survived by his wife and five children. RE: RIP Ian Paisley - HannahsPet - 12-09-2014 14:14 Not sure what to make of this one Man of principle but how long did that stop the peace in Northern Ireland from becoming a reality as it was today RE: RIP Ian Paisley - Doddle - 12-09-2014 19:24 In the end, that peace process needed him and Sinn Fein IRA to work together. He did his bit, when the time came. I can't think of a appropriate Biblical allusion just now.
