today would haver been Randy Rhoad's 58th birthday.
He was arguably one of rock's finest exponents of the electric guitar and died tragically in a plane crash in March 1982 His short collaborations with Ozzy Ozzbourne produced two albums which have stood the test of time.
R.I.P. Rhandy fondly remembered.

I was lucky enough to see him in concert in Newcastle in 1980. I've seen many of the greatest rock guitarists but he was on another level altogether: amazing
