FIFA - Charlemagne - 21-01-2015 11:09 It's about time that FIFA had it's own thread I see that David Ginola has decided to throw his hat into the ring to run for the top job currently held by Sepp Blatter. To be eligible , Ginola would need the support of five football associations and must show active involvement in football for two of the past five years. David want the World Cup to have both the Men & Women's competitions running within the same torniment I've vote for him, anyone other than Blatter and Ginola must be one of the few Frenchman who doesn't hate the British. But I think that the clue is that a bookie has paid him £250,000 op run for the top job at FIFA RE: FIFA - SOCATOA - 21-01-2015 13:50 Bet on Sepp, its a done deal RE: FIFA - Captain Vimes - 21-01-2015 14:21 (21-01-2015 11:09 )Charlemagne Wrote: I see that David Ginola has decided to throw his hat into the ring.. I'd vote for him. He's dreamy* * You are all thinking it. Get over yourselves. RE: FIFA - Charlemagne - 21-01-2015 15:18 Are there any women with a vote on FIFA's executive committee? RE: FIFA - 7 stars of the orient - 21-01-2015 15:35 It's not decided by FIFA's executive committee. Every country in the world is able to cast a vote. RE: FIFA - SOCATOA - 21-01-2015 16:08 Think the brown envelopes are being passed around Sepp will make a packet out of it FIFA are a joke now, and cant see any change happening RE: FIFA - Goodfella3041 - 21-01-2015 20:17 (21-01-2015 15:18 )Charlemagne Wrote: Are there any women with a vote on FIFA's executive committee? There are a couple, but I don't think that it will be much help David Ginola's campaign. This is going to sound deeply homophobic, but f**k it ... if the dictionary definition of 'lesbian' had a picture, it would be a photo of the Australian exec committee member, Moya Dodd. Anyway, 7 stars is right ... it's a whole FIFA vote, not the exec committee. But since I am already flirting with potential homophobia, I may as well add something mildly racist. Have you looked at the names on that Executive Committee? It looks like the makings of a Monty Python sketch ... the Ministry of Funny Names. There is actually a guy on there called MARCO POLO. C'mon ... surely that's a made-up guy to cast a phony vote for Sepp! And Turks & Caicos are on the executive committee. Turks & Caicos!? I've been there. The whole place is just a giant beach resort. I'm guessing that it has a population of 5,000 citizens and 200,000 hotel guests. You can see the whole country in a golf cart. How the hell are they on the FIFA Executive Committee!? No wonder the World Cup bidding was a shambles. The brown envelopes from Russia and Qatar must have been half their GDP that year. (My apologies to the Gay, Lesbian and Bisexual community of the Turks & Caicos) RE: FIFA - circles_o_o_o - 25-01-2015 01:23 Now Mario Balotelli's agent, Mino Raiola, has declared that he wants to be in the election. Quote:"I'm getting violently sick when I think that Blatter could be re-elected," he is quoted as saying by the Daily Telegraph.
