Oh no Sad.
This is desperately sad news Sad.
One of the most insightful, thought provoking and legendary commentators of any era imo.

A true legend of media and Cricket, a commentator icon
He made the 1981 Ashes alive with his commentary and made summer days seem blissful and like Name Change has already said, we have lost a part of our childhood with Richie's passing One of the Aussie's best cricket captains and of the first to make 2000 runs and 200 Test wickets All thoughts to friends family and colleagues at this very sad time
Thank you Richie for making my childhood love of cricket a happy one. RIP

Always enjoyed his commentries and insight into the game. He was truely the voice of cricket as was seen by the output of emotions when he retired recently. He will be missed by countless cricket fans.
