Sin TV - Technical Help - stilettos - 15-04-2015 01:57 Can anyone tell me whats wrong with the webstream? I only ever get it stuck or frozen on this channel, but the others are fine. im watching using babeshows link, perhaps theres a better way of veiwing it? RE: Sin TV - Technical Help - HEX!T - 15-04-2015 10:55 no mate the webstream they use has issues with buffering. likely reason is not enough physical ram on the server. the sd streams play a little smoother but they hitch 2. 1 thing i have noticed thats an oddity. when i try to watch with vlc the hitching gets quicker and longer each time. it will maybe hitch 1-2 times inside the first 60 seconds and last 3-5 seconds. each time after that it gets progressively longer and happens more often till its 30 seconds+ the oddity is that as vlc automatically increases its cache the hitching should get shorter. it doesnt. possible reason? not entirely sure, could be that there trying to limit connections there end so have deliberately introduced lag. or there server host needs a bollocking for over subscribing the ports and needs to add more.
