Agree Button - Whynot - 02-05-2015 21:56

Random idea. Why do we not have an 'agree' button? Posts are often thanked but really thanks should go to the guys who cap and post pics etc... Also having an 'agree' button might cut down on the number of useless posts as it is stronger in meaning than a thanks button.

What do people think? Is it even possible to add one?

yes i don't see whynot

RE: Agree Button - ShandyHand - 02-05-2015 22:20

Thanks... I mean yeah I agree. Smile

EDIT: Actually I think it should be an Agree on the chat and a Thanks on the caps/vids. But then I always was a stickler!

Then how'd you manage to answer his post then? Tongue

Well I disagree about an agree button, the thanks button more or less covers all aspects to liking the post and to agreeing with the post.

Why not also put in a disagree button and a hate button too while we're at it Wink

Because if you had a disagree button all debate would end on the forum. Wink

if we're having all these emotive buttons, we definitely need an ambivalence button for people who can't be arsed to have an opinion.

Bollocks! As I'm pissed after celebrating Brentford's unexpected attainment of playoff status, what about a button to highlight a particular bugbear of mine.

A misspelt button!

If you see separate spelled as seperate, or definitely spelled as definately, or confusion over their, there, or they're, you immediately hit the misspelt button, and the correct spelling is inserted.

Call me a pedant, but it irritates me so.

Incidentally, should it be a misspelt button or a misspelled button or a mis-spelt button or a mis-spelled button.

Shit! I won't sleep tonight.

But why would you be bothered about that?! Wink
