Rugby world Cup 2015 Predictions - lovebabes56 - 05-09-2015 15:07

With the World Cup not farer away I would like to know which teams you : -

A) Like to see winning the Tournament : I would like to pick England or New Zealand
B) which home nation will go the furthest? I expect to see either England, Wales or Ireland to at least reach the Semi finals

Like to See winning the tournament
England, anyone but New Zealand or Wales

I think should they get out of a very tough group either England or Wales will go furthest out of the home nations but never write off the unpredictable French.

As an Englishman obviously I would like England to win.
Their ability to do so will depend on how they finish in the group stage. If they fail to win their group/pool they leave themselves vulnerable to having to play all three major southern hemisphere nations one after the other in the knockout stage i.e New Zealand, Australia and South Africa.
Were that scenario to present itself I fear it would be a task too tough to complete even with home advantage.
I see England going the furthest in the comp overall out of the northern hemisphere but I predict they will lose to South Africa in a tight final 12-11.

Anyone But Australia Wink

Say will be England South africa , australia and NZ in semi's

Another daft ranking system in operation
Either England, Australia or Wales will be watching the knock out stages from home whilst either Scotland or Italy will be playing in them. Nice ranking system dickheads!!!!!!!
I suppose you could see it as 'to win the competition you got to play the best. So why not early on?'
That's assuming that Who ever gets out of the group won't be to knackered from playing 2 brutal group games. Fiji are no mugs either.

Ireland will go closer than the rest of Europe but probably lose in the semi final

I don't think England will win, probably quarter finals. I have a feeling that Wales will go furthest from the home nations, maybe even reach the final. But for me it's South Africa's year for glory.

Lol Just wait till Mat Dawson has to face up to the ire of the pc brigade for making fun of the Maori precious heritageRolleyes
We should do the Morris dance when facing the haka. If that does not put the fear up them nothing would!!!!!!!!
Even now we have members of the pc brigade pontificating how barbaric singing swing low sweet chariot is whilst the haka is performed. The point of the haka is 3 fold
1) to psyce the all blacks up
2) to intimidate the opposition
3) to get the crowd involved wether playing at home or away
Singing swing low sweet chariot is englands supporters way of letting the all Blacks know that the challenge has been accepted.
I love the Haka but even the most naive, sanctimonious, member of the pc brigade can not seriously believe it's a celebration of Maori heritage and that the appropriate response for everyone is to stand in reverent silence. It is throwing down the gauntlet and how the opposition respond to the challenge is up to them. I trully hope for just one tournament the pc brigade will show common sense and respect that fact.
Anyway come on England.
