Clocks Go back - lovebabes56 - 24-10-2015 05:53

A friendly reminder for you all that British summer time ends tonight and clocks go back so we get an extra hour in bed

^Daylight saving is relatively straight forward if anyone takes notice of the following bit of info.

If you remember the simple phrase 'Spring forward 1, fall back 2'. Also the extra bit of info, that it is the early morning of the last Sunday of March and October the clocks go back and forward respectively.

Smile Is it that the case, do they not just run for the same amount of hours as usual and so finish (apparently) earlier ?

That makes it sound like we put the clocks back 2 hours!

I believe the saying is simply 'Spring forward - Fall back', although 'Fall' is an american expression, and I'm not american, so the whole thing means nothing to me laugh

^ I should have maybe clarified myself further. The numbers after spring forward and fall back refer to the time in that particular Sunday morning when the clocks go back and forward.
So Spring is 1am and fall is 2am

The times I gave above are the official UK times, but they don't really mean much for ordinary people because they change their clocks either the night before or when they get up on the Sunday morning.

Meh darkness at 5pm surely the nightshows should begin when it gets dark, if it was daylight at 1am no would say its daytime would theyRolleyes
anyway with an extra hour of the babeshows tonight think about how good some of the girls calls stats will beBig Grin

Rammy will be salivating wildly at the prospect of the increased call stat analysis.
Probably need a few cold showers to ease the excitement Bounce.

Why would they voluntarily give up an extra hour of night time revenue?

^ No idea. It was a genuine question. The schedule appears to show everybody finishing at 04:30.
