Ipads and storage. - wackawoo - 08-04-2016 03:07

So I gets me self a smart iPad air 1. Being dyslexic, I found the retina display is by far the easiest thing to read for me.

So I gets a 128 gigs with the hopes of loading all my manuals and stuff I have to read (as well as anything else i might use it for)

So the point of this thread.

It seems to me that there is no way of creating folders on this thing, nor any way of tranfering files from one folder to another like you can with windows. The only way i have found is by using iCloud, thence from there to pad. However, if you delete the anyhting out of icloud it vanishes from the ipad, but it doesn't look like I can move them from there to any where else. There is drop box, one drive but the same applies.

So, is there any way of getting files onto the ipad and keep them there and then deleteing them from icloud? So I can free up iCloud space.

Icloud free can only hold 5 or 6 gigs, including back ups, obviously this will fill up quickly (especially if you load music and vids).

You can of course buy more icloud space, but what is the point of having all that space on the ipad if you can't in reality store anything there; to me thats like one big con.

i cant really say if this works as i dont have ipad

but from looks of it you can sync ipad and a pc so could be able to do all you want to do on a pc or mac as long as you have itunes on it

and you can turn icloud off
