Christ just came into the news and just seen that Victoria wood has died of cancer aged 62
Totally shocked didnt know she was ill
One of the best british comedy writers and performers of the last 30-40 years

Very very sad news. A groundbreaking female comedian & actor. She will be missed hugely, especially her native Greater Manchester

Really sad to hear this. Always loved her stand up routines and I don't mind admitting that Dinner Ladies is still one of my favourite sit-coms ever (other shows die trying to be as witty as that simple comedy is/was). RIP
