International Summer Tours 2016 - Charlemagne - 11-06-2016 12:57

How did England manage to beat Australia. They took a real beating in the 1st quarter of the match but they have some how brought the match back and won 39-28.

The answer is they adapted their gameplan after being caught for pace in the first quarter of the game.
Gradually England disrupted Australia in the breakdown phases and closed off a lot of angles for the Aussie running game.
Farrell's kicking was a key factor too, he was clinical and James Haskell was a collosus for England. He broke up so much play and was at the forefront of the English resistance.
Make no mistake that was a herculean effort from England.
They had to battle hard, adapt to the way Australia started and hold their nerve. In all three regards England succeeded.
An outstanding victory.

Wales didn't fair as well when they took on New Zealand earlier today.
They faded badly in the last twenty mins where they conceded 21 unanswered points. Final score New Zealand 39 Wales 21

Best performance of the day goes to Ireland.
They've beaten home team South Africa 26-20 for the first time in their history and that was after having one of their team sent off after 20 mins and another guy was yellow carded for 10 mins.

A history making day for English Rugby Union.
England have won their first ever test series in Australia after an absolutely mind boggling defensive display to win 23-7 in the second test to take an unassailable 2-0 lead in the series.
Absolutely unbelievable heroics.

Outstanding achievement.

England footballers take note bladewave.

Especially as England spend much of the second half in defense.
They had to make 3 times the amount of tackles that the Austrailas made.

Big come back by South Africa against Ireland they were down 3-26.
