Kenny Baker who played R2-D2 has passed away at the age of 81.

And mine. I was born the same year the very first Star Wars films came out (1977) and grew up with the original trilogy in the 80's.

I have been very lucky to have met Kenny last year at a film & comic con in Manchester and he was in great spirits even though he wasnt well. such a lovely person. He signed my Star Wars Blu-Ray box set
