Hey guys, long time member on here but havent really posted much just thought Id get your advice on something, so basically Ive had my sky plus box a while and its got so many great recordings from the past of the babe channels as far back as 09, now I dont want to delete them and lose them forever but ive just started seeing my gf and doubt it would look good if she ever went to record something on sky and seen all the recordings, is there a way to save them or anyway I can get them onto a laptop maybe and then delete them? Havent a clue but thought someone could help a guy out

Oh! A big dilemma
You could save a few of them in the delete area.
You'd have to first go into the delete section and clear out all the shows there.
Then you could then keep a few shows in there and just reinstate them when you want to view.

Don't these Sky boxes have a hard drive inside of them like a computer or laptop? There must be a way of taking it out for long enough to connect it to a pc & copy the files you want? Assuming the skybox saves them as video files and not some odd formatted file of their own making?

Its not as simple as we are dealing with sky hardware here and they make it bloody difficult as possible easiest way could be to get a new sky box
easiest way is to record them to a Dvd Recorder or maybe using a usb video capture device can get them for as little as 20 quid and save them on to your pc
