Just been announced on the racing websites that 3 times Grand National winning Jockey Brian Fletcher has died aged 69
Won the Race twice on Red Rum

I remember I picked out Crisp in the family sweepstake in 73 just how close I came I still think even after all these years, that has to be one of the most memorable National races in National history

He also won the Scottish Grand National on Red Rum in 1974, which makes Red Rum the only horse to win both races in the same year.
