It seems that MP Tobias Ellwood tried to save the police officer with CPR and mouth to mouth resuscitation but sadly, despite his admirable efforts the PC could not be saved and subsequently passed away. Thoughts with all victims and families affected.

Ellwood is ex Army. No surprise that he would run towards this when the natural reaction is to run away.
His brother died in the Bali attacks in 2002.
