Former New England Patriots tight end Aaron Hernandez has been found dead in a Massachusetts prison.
He was serving a life sentence for a 2007 murder that he was convicted of in 2013, but he's recently been aquited of the crime.

He was found not guilty last week of a different crime - a double murder in a drive by shooting. He was serving a life sentence without parole for a separate murder. This murder conviction may now be set aside due to a law which may vacate the conviction because an appeal was in process at the time of his death.

Jon Gruden has been named as the new the head coach of the Oakland Raiders. He is on $10 million a year on a 10 year contract.
And even if he's rubbish the club still have to pay his $100 contract

After a fair bit of gossip being fired around about the Falcons coming over this year I'm pretty disappointed. Got to happen in the next two years as we're hosting a SB, so hopefully next year. I'd be semi interested in seeing the Raiders but if only to see Amari Cooper play and I Gruden, I could listen to him talk about football for time

After the loss in the Superbowl final it looked like it could have been the end of the dynasty at New England.
Their record breaking quarterback is getting to the end of his career
Offensive coordinator Josh McDaniels was inline to take over at the Colts next session.
Defensive coordinator Matt Patricia (the dude who looks like a pirate dressed in red) has taken the Chief Coaches job at the Lions.
Giant tight-end Ron Gronkowski is concidering his future and may retire
Belichick himself is unsure how long he wants to continue
But Josh McDaniels has just had a meeting with owner Kraft... and he's now announced that he's not going to take the Colts job.
So it looks lie he's going to be the next Patriots head coach, if and when Belichick leaves

I can't see Malcolm Butler playing for the Pats next year.
He was bench by Belichick before the final. Rumour is that he missed the curfew, although Butler is denying it.

Yeah I heard he missed curfew after attending a Rick Ross concert and then an un-named (at least in the article I read) ex-Patriot who now pundits was saying that weed was found on him
