Sorry if this is a dumb ass question or has been answered before but I've lost track of what I've rated and don't want to do the same one twice.

I don't think it's possible to rate a thread twice. If you hover over the stars on a thread you already rated, it tells you the rating info in a tooltip, that's how you know you've already rated it.
