Free to watch channels? - jakeee09 - 10-05-2009 15:42

I'm new and i do like to watch the adult channel's every now and again, but unfortunately i live with my parent's now due to not being able to afford my rent (great!) and they have Sky +, i mainly watch EliteTv (loving Dionne) and whatever i find but i just want to make sure the channel's that you can watch like normal channel's are free? Proberbly a stupid question, and i know you have to pay to watch most but i don't really want my parent's to find out on their Sky bill cos they won't be too impressed.
Thanks!

all the following babechannels are free and wont show on your bill

906,907,908,909,910,912,914,936,937,948,949,950,951,952,954,955,956,957,959,960,961, 962,963, 964 and 965

any adult channels you have to pay for usually come up with a blue screen saying press red button to order. all the free ones dont

You can also set it so that you have to enter your PIN for purchases over a certain amount. I have mine set to £0.00. This prevents ordering anything by accident.

Its located here: Services/Parental Control/Other Restrictions/Pin required for purchases over
Set the amount to £0.00 and Save New Settings

I think this must be one of the main reasons why the free to view Babe channels are so eager to resist going encrypted, as a lot of people are of the opinion that entering your PIN equals money deducted from your bill. And that people will then not bother to watch.

I remember when Sky Movies started broadcasting 18 and 15 certificate films during the daytime, a lot of people were hesitant to tap in their pin , thinking that they were going to be charged extra.
