Just breaking that Blue Peter Legend John Noakes has died aged 83.
really a little before my time which was the 80's but still a childrens tv legend

probably my favourite blue peter presenter... him and shep (get down shep) are a persistent memory from a very early age.

Sad news hope is he is reunited with Shep RIP I remember him doing the Cresta bobsleigh run which I think he was injured I'm sure of it, could someone confirm if I'm right) but he was very much an action man and that parachute jump as well.
