Wow just seen that the Irish Comedian Sean Hughes has died aged 51
amazing performer and loved his Channel 4 show Seans Show cant believe it

I see he died from a heart attack, he had also been suffering from cirrhosis of the liver. He was a brilliant stand up comedian, one of the best of his generation, also a fine actor, especially in the last detective with Peter Davidson.

Rather liked him as 'Mod' in "The Last Detective', a role to which he seemed perfectly suited.
Also, as a team captain in the early (and best!) days of "Never Mind The Buzzocks".

Seems very out of the blue, rather an early age and a grim fate. He was bloody funny in his day. RIP
