BBC obituary

Likely Lads was funny, the sequel, What Ever Happened, for me, even better.

RIP

RIP Rodney Bewes

Likely Lads very funny and well written, still watch the DVD's today. They could sit around a table and talk to each other for ages, no gimmicks or fancy sets or special effects..good lines, well acted , perfect timing and a great chemistry.

I love whatever happened to the likely lads, it was the peep show of the 1970's.
Like with Mitchell & Webb, it was the chemistry between Bewes & Bolam that made it work. It's a great shame they fell out in 1976 and never spoke again.

RIP Rodney
