Apologies to the all the people that already know this, but if it helps one person out it's probably worth posting
I've found that the best way to search Rapidshare is to just use Google. All you have to do is put in what you want to search for, then after just type in site:rapidshare.com. This will bring up a list of links on the Rapidshare site.
This can also be used to search most other sites, just change the domain name in your search.
Hope someone finds this useful.

Thanks Stevie - that's good info. Its also useful to check some of the best forums as well as they protect their links from being searchable via Google.

I find that searching for sometihng in google and just putting .rar or .zip on the end of the search will bring up links to the files on rapidshare (and others).
Same works with .torrent
