Sad news of actor Peter Wyngarde who's died at the age of 89.
Peter was famous in the 70's & 80's in TV shows like Jason King, The Avengers, The Prisoner & Department S.

The Guardian says he was 90. Wikipedia says he was 85.
He was that kind of guy, slippery
A curious character in real life, but with a long catalogue of memorable film and telly efforts to his credit.

Remember watching him in Department S and Jason King along with Flash Gordon, he’ll sadly be missed R.I.P.

Department S is one of my favourite ITC series from the 60s and Peter Wyngarde with his flamboyant clothes and manner was the coolest character.
