Actress Jessica Szohr has joined the show and will be Season regular starting in season 2. She be part of crew on board the Orville but no news as of yet who she will be playing.

Ep 11 “Dimensions” Season 1.
What i liked about this Ep and the series in general is how it’s able to be funny and yet blend in serious moments within there storylines and yet some how it works.

It's such an enjoyable show, I've liked every episode. It's both clever and stupid, which is brilliant.
I also have a thing for Adrianne Palicki and Halston Sage which doesn't hurt, but I do like the entire cast.
If anyone hasn't watched it, I highly recommend you give it a go.

Production has begun on season 2 and Joe Menosky has been added as a co-executive producer. He was a writer on Next Gen, DS9 and Voyager.

Marina Sirtis who’s best known for playing Counselor Deanna Troi in Star Trek The Next Generation will be appearing in season 2 and will be directed by Jonathan Frakes who played Will Riker in The Next Generation.
