He suffered in the WWF due to atrocious booking but his matches with Sting and Cactus Jack in WCW and his wars with the big hitters in Japan are well worth seeking out.

Sad news, if not enirely unexpected.
I've long loved his matches with Nobuhiko Takada in the UWFi promotion. Superb worker.
