Egypt Hotel Deaths - Charlemagne - 24-08-2018 10:54

I see that the sad news of the deaths of a former friend and his wife have finally made the national news.

Were their deaths of natural causes, or is there some unknown reason which the Egyptian authorities want to keep quiet.

Thomas Cook have removed all the 300 plus guests from the Steigenberger Aqua Magic at the resort of Hurghada.

It annoying that the bodies weren't immediately flown home for a post mortem.
It's going to be one huge cover up.

I don’t know if I believe it or not but someone has said severe food poisoning from undercooked chicken, that’s why there was a time difference in the death times.

The sleeping arrangement were that one of their grandchildren was in with them.
But due to an aweful smell that night the child was squeezed into his mums room.

If it was food poisoning they'd have been throwing their guts up everywhere. The Daughter would have noticed.

They've said there was no evidence of CO poisoning, they haven't ruled it out but the talk of an "awful smell" doesn't fit with that, assuming it's true.

I'm assuming the hotel has a swimming pool. I wonder how close they were to the plant room for it as chlorine poisoning will cause cardiac & respiratory problems.

There's been a few updates
The COA of Thomas Cook has visited the President of Egypt

It appears that there were pest controllers spraying in the next bedroom the day before the deaths

The Egyptian forensic examinations showed that both the Coopers died from E.coli.

So what they are says that both of them died within hours of themselves of a form of dysentery. Neither had sickness etc. And the rest of the hotel who ate the same food were not affected. bladewave

The only believable thing is that they also said that the bodies showed 'no criminal violence'

UK Home Office pathologists have now taken over the examinations. But analysis may take months to complete.

Pathology test have now been completed in the UK.
But the results are inconclusive.

Toxicology and other tests are being carried out.

Then we will see what the Egyptian authorities are hiding
