Yeah another thread of childhood unraveled -not quite godlike status as say Brian Cant but influential in many a child's development. Very sad to hear of that passing. Without giving away my age, I remember I lived close to my school and every lunchtime I would rush back to eat and watch Pipkins( with the decidedly sinister-looking Hartley Hare) and Rainbow(I think we all had a secret crush on Jane(of Rod, Jane and Freddy fame) Smile

Another chapter of my now seemingly distant childhood has been closed. Definitely one of the iconic faces of kids' tv way back then. Sad news.

RIP Geoffrey Sad

In George & Zippy's case; it'll allow their puppeteers time to get off their knees long enough to get some feeling back into them, before having to get back to their knees to s**k the c**k of the next kids programme commissioner, who might have more work for them?
