People's Vote - Goodfella3041 - 09-11-2018 21:18

I don't want to deflect from the excellent "Europe, Referendum & Brexit" thread, but am mindful that its poll -- which found that this forum was 60:40 in favour of REMAIN -- was taken before the referendum in 2016.

A lot has happened since then.

So I thought it might be interesting to take the Forum's temperature, knowing what we now know.

(Probably best to just vote -- if you are so inclined -- and keep the commentary in a single Brexit thread that already exists elsewhere)

Best for Britain will jump all over it & claim 10,000 people voted polled throughout the country.

Seems like another good day to bump this.

C'mon fellas ... I'm pretty sure that Internet polls on babeshow forums are not legally binding unless the sample size is at least fifty people.

Time to bump this again?

The expression "People's Vote" is only used by militant remainers and therefore this poll is itself a loaded question. Who after all could possibly be opposed to such a reasonable, moderate, democratic concept?

The answer is the millions of people who voted to leave in the 2016 referendum or "The Real People's Vote" and expected our disgusting political establishment to get us the fuck out of the EU as instructed.

The very fact why so many were disgusted with our MP's on 5 live. If the MP'S will not agree then it is time we had our final say and there should be two questions on the ballot - May's Deal or No Deal - simple as that. And they have to be made legally bound to deliver on March 29 whatever we vote for, with no parliamentary involvement and the vote rubber stamped by the Queen herself to seal it.

And what exactly was the instruction? Leave with a deal, or leave without a deal?

Which choice did every one of the 17.8 million people vote for?

And, if it's just about leaving whatever, why won't Rees-Mogg & co support May's deal? If they did that we'd be out on the 29th, no problem.
Surely it can't be the Brexiteers who are stopping us from leaving?

We desperately need someone with all the answers to lead us out of this mess. I'm really glad you've stepped up to the plate Cool

There are so many options, it's just too complicated to put in one vote.

There is:
Leave or stay, leave with no deal, leave with the EU agreed deal, leave but stop in a common market.
