Can anyone explain to me why so many people/celebs these days suffer from mental illness? It seems that modern celebs seem more unable of coping with fame than previously? Is it social media maybe? Or are we just being told more about it these days than back when celebs were able to hide their problems? I can't understand why such a beautiful woman would suffer so cruelly...

A tragic shame, these days we have become more aware of mental illnesses but it seems to me, that even though we are aware of it and have the means to help those suffering from it, we don't do enough, perhaps it is because mental illnesses do not carry visible wounds but we really need to do more
