And very unexpected RIP RE: RIP Dianne Oxberry - Carl-Gen X - 11-01-2019 13:11 Had absolutely no idea she was ill. I met her once when I was living in Manchester in the mid 90s and she came across as a totally genuine, honest and very likeable woman. 51 is no age to be taken by cancer... Thoughts with her family and all who knew her. RE: RIP Dianne Oxberry - mikegarn - 11-01-2019 14:25 She brought the sun into our lives for more than 20 years with her natural, friendly, cheerful manner, whatever the weather. She also showed her capability in other areas of broadcasting - local & national radio, investigative reporting for TV, etc. A beautiful part of my daily life has gone and I feel so sad. May she rest in peace and shine like the sun up there for us. RE: RIP Dianne Oxberry - HannahsPet - 11-01-2019 18:07 (11-01-2019 13:11 )Carl_HoneyLover Wrote: Had absolutely no idea she was ill. Yeah seems to have been out of the blue as she seemed to be so fit as she was walking 20 miles a day on a thing for children in need in november. RE: RIP Dianne Oxberry - Ree's No.1 fan - 11-01-2019 19:06 Very sad news as Dianne Oxberry was a lovely woman who brought a bit of brightness into the drabbest of days. She had a very short illness but 51 is tragically young age to die. RIP and thoughts to family and friends who must feel her passing so deeply. Hi Like you I also met her once in the 90s, I was living in the Isle of Man and had a weekend in Manchester. She was as you say totally genuine and the type of person who most people instantly warm to, RIP Dianne RE: RIP Dianne Oxberry - Tractor boy - 12-01-2019 10:31 So sudden and so tragic RIP Dianne |
