Latest reports are that 40 people have been killed and more than 20 seriously injured. Police have arrested four people.

Horrific. The rascist terrorists who did this even livestreamed the murders. Social media companies are working with the authorities to delete the videos as quickly as they can as they become aware of them.

I can't understand why people wold want to watch such stuff. I bitterly regretted watching an ISIS mass beheading video. You can never un-see something so horrific.

Agreed Rake. The evil bastards who did this know the impact of putting these things on social media both to terrify people and motivate like minded racists. New Zealand is probably one of the last places on earth I would have thought something like this would happen and that in some ways makes the horrific impact even greater.

The Daily Mail uploaded the attacker's 74 page manifesto to their website for people to download. The Mail and The Sun also uploaded edited versions of the shooter's first person video with the violence omitted whilst the mirror uploaded an edited video that showed parts of the attack including the attacker firing at people.
