Blimey, she was 10 years older than Nedjet Salih (or possibly 8-9 according to IMDB).

I remember her and I also remember her in advert for Oven Crunchies by ROSS. It is in a café and someone is ordering food and says dreamily "Oven Crunchies" to which she answers "oh, with chips?"
Surprised to hear of her death, sad to read and one of the original Eastenders cast, following the loss of Leslie Grantham last year.
